Questions:  

1.      What does the Mexican codex map teach us about th  Spanish conquest and the relationship between the “conquistadores” and the Mexican local population?
2.      The text tells us about Mexican pre-Hispanic traditions that  passed down through generations. Can you name  some of them? Can you think of a tradition in your region that has resisted the course of time? What is this tradition about?
3.      At the end, the text tells us about the particularities of the anti-clerical nationalism in Mexico.  Can you explain it? Do you think there is something  similar in Catalonia or in your country?
